Hello, we are Valérie and Alain! Camping Les Peupliers, a 3-star campsite in the Ardèche in Vogüé, is our home, and we are the ones who welcome you here. We run reception, we look after the grounds, and we love talking about our little corner of paradise. All the tips and information on this website come from our first-hand experience. So make yourself comfortable, and let us tell you everything!
Who Are We?
Hosts at heart, managers by passion: that is how we see ourselves. Here, at our small-scale 3-star campsite on the banks of the Ardèche river, we do everything ourselves.
Welcoming you, giving advice, lending a hand: that is our daily life, and we would not swap it for anything in the world!
One sentence sums up our state of mind quite well: our mission is to make sure you have a great time and leave us well rested. Do you know what touches us most? Seeing our guests arrive, sometimes a little tense, then relax as the days go by, until everyone ends up saying hello to each other. There is heart, and there is closeness. That is everything we love!

The result: we know our Ardèche inside out. Looking for a path for a gentle walk? A cool spot on a scorching day? Just ask us, we have the answer!
Need an idea? Head to Vogüé via the old quarries, with views over the Ardèche and the château. Or follow the river towards Balazuc and return through the oak forests. You can also explore the old village of Lanas, less well known but very picturesque and within walking distance of the campsite. And when the thermometer soars, head for the Monts d’Ardèche and the mountain lake of Issarlès to catch your breath.
At reception, we also keep the large Zoom Sud Ardèche maps from the tourist office, and we always tailor our advice to you. We can even help you plan your sightseeing or excursions, for the day or for your whole stay!
A little house bonus: we are more central than Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, so with us, everything is within easy reach!

It’s simple: we live everything you read here, and we enjoy our Ardèche too once the campsite has closed. We run our campsite ourselves, we answer the phone, and many of you call us before booking, for advice on accommodation or a visit. And honestly, we love it! Nothing makes us happier than helping you find your holiday haven!
Our commitment also shows in small gestures. Because this nature is beautiful but fragile, we have installed push-button taps, gradually switched our lighting to LEDs, and planted many trees to make our shaded pitches even better.
Add to that waste sorting, a composter and a real preference for soft mobility, by bike or with our electric vehicle. These choices reflect who we are, quite simply.
Our Philosophy
It all comes down to one word: closeness. For us, a lovely stay is made of simple things: a smile at reception, a good tip shared at the counter, a drink with your pitch neighbours. Far from large resorts, we cultivate a natural, quiet and friendly campsite where everyone feels a little at home. And that is the spirit in which we welcome you, season after season: with a sincere wish to do things well.
